• A "Hope Full" Souper sunday

The hall was set up in a cafe style, The Puppet Theatre was in place & the soup was on the boil.

the doors opened up and young people from our music project came in and had a quick practice whilst mums listening intently.

Shaun Spowart from Hope Uk arrived and set up his various stands and in his usual friendly open manner made young and older feel right at home.

Soup was served and the chitter chatter and friendly laughter echoed around the hall as everyone starting interacting on our first SOUPer Sunday.

It was 'time to meet the puppets' - our host for the evening was a french puppet called " Pepe le Pieux " who certainly made everyone feel at home. Local church members performed a 5 minute skit - which left food for thought.

Spotlight moment went to the students of our music project firstly Unite Youth Band who played beautifully and a wonderful solo by Charli-Ann Higgs. & Nathan & Sam performed fantastically a piece entitled 'Pachelbels Canon'

An interview with Shaun from Hope UK took place. Shaun shared some of his life story and some of the work of Hope UK and gave some great advice as well as sharing the effects of addiction in an humourous yet poignat way

a fantastic afternoon & our next one is on 20th January- Watch this space!
