• Going to the Mayors Parlour for Tea by Allyssa Deering aged 7

My name is Allyssa Deering I am 7 years old & I am a member of Dove Creative Arts Group & I played the Dormouse In the Community Panto " A Tale Of Two Alices" .

This is my first ever Blog - by Kind permission of my Mummy .

Our Town Mayor was in our panto and she invited us for Tea at her parlour in February.

we learnt alot about what the Mayor does & all the work that the Town Council does like looking after parks and lots of places in the town, we also learnt about all the Mayors that have been in aylesbury & found out that Richard's (Cup charity founder)mum was a Mayor of Aylesbury.

we also had tea and cake & then we got to try on The Mayors Robes . This is me in the robes. we all had a great time at the Mayors Parlour .

Thankyou Aylesbury Town Mayor Cllr Allison Harrison.
